Hey Guys,

I need some followers..push the follow button, and show your friends. I am so excited about this project. I will be saving all the donations that I am able to get, keep you updated with what I have spent along with the total retail value of the items, put them on my kitchen table as my daughter will be doing a video to show just how much stuff I got for such a small amount.

Put your couponing skills to the test, browse Wal-mart, weekly sales ads, and match the coupons to free items. Remember, even if you don't like the item, get it anyway with a coupon and donate to your local food bank. If you don't have a lot to spend, you can still help by using coupons!

Staying True To My Word

So with a little money on my credit card, and 5.00 in my purse, I come up with a plan to make this week work, since all my money I make this weekend (I have 2 jobs waitressing) will go mostly on bills..maybe if I am lucky I will have a little to spare :)

3 Rice Krispy Treats
3 Pack CVS Paper Towels
2 48 Pk Ozarka Waters

My girls are stocked up for the week. I am sure I will have to add a few things. But we will be ok
For those just visiting, in the post below it tells how had to spend 1700.00 for my car. kind of wiped out my savings. I will not get discouraged though. I will still keep my goal to help others since I save so much using coupons

"Cutting Out Hunger One Coupon At A Time"

I have been couponing Since October 2009, Oh how I wished I would of made time along time ago, but we can't change the past, only move forward. I have saved so much money, and hope to show you not only how to cut your grocery bill in half, but have more stuff, and be able to donate to the local food pantry as well. How great would that be to be able to help not only your family, but others, and spend very little doing so.

Most items you can get for FREE! How? By finding out what sales your current stores are having weekly, and matching them with coupons. I know some people don't have as many stores to choose from, but savings is savings any way you look at it. Some may be able to get their savings higher than others do to that very fact. Some stores participate in double coupons, some don't. Whatever the case in your area, you can do this! I will help you and list other blog sites to help you as well.

My current goal is to donate $300.00 regular price stuff to the food pantry with minimal out of pocket each month. You will be able to see how a little can go along way and help quite a few people. I have started this venture on 5/25/2009 and before that donated about $100.00 in food. I have already had a set back as I found out that it my car is going to cost 1700.00 to fix..My ex and I are splitting that. Its taking my whole savings.

Am I upset? Sure, but I was never able to save money until I started couponing. Coupons allowed me to face this problem without having to panic. I am sick at my stomach but not panicked.

Maybe my first month, I won't be able to give as much as I wanted, or maybe I will, just depends what freebies or good deals they have going on. It never hurts to go shopping if you can get it for FREE!

Ok so here is what I got so far

2 Kraft Dressings 1.58-1.00 Coupon = .16
1 Colgate Toothpaste 1.00-1.00 = FREE
2 Velvetta Cheese Cups 2.00-1.00=1.00
2 Starkist Tuna 2/1.00= 1.00
4 Dove Deodarants 6.00- 2.50=3.50
1 Fudge Brownie Mix .50
1 Kraft Mayo 24 oz 2.50-1.50=1.00
3 Double Packs of Right Guard Reg 4.42 clearanced 1.24-1.00=.24
1 Hunts Ketchup 1.00-60=.40
1 Dry Idea Deodarant .82-1.00= FREE
Albertsons 48 oz oil 2.00
2 Chicken Noodle Soups 2/1.00-1.00=FREE
1 Hunts Snack Puddings 1.00= 1.00
20 pks Kool-aid 2.00 (There was a coupon for 1.00 off 10, but could not find it..this could of been free, but still good deal, and might make a few children smile this summer)

Total Spent so Far: 14.30
Total Value: 56.00

Thanks for reading my post, stop by often to see my progress, and find some tips on your own grocery budget, and hopefully your desire to help others as well.

Take Care,
